Design
The compact wallet of the Tanker series, which is also synonymous with PORTER.
The front side is black and the back side is a vivid rescue orange, with a colouring reminiscent of flight jackets.
The aluminium zippers, snap buttons and metal fittings, which were rare at the time, show their age as the bag is used.
The TANKER was first introduced in 1983 and has been updated down to the smallest detail, while retaining the specifications of the original TANKER.
The metal zipper pulls are produced using a pressing method, and changes have been made to the colour of the interior zipper pulls and even the vinyl pockets.
All 50 models in the series come with an original drawstring made by Porter.
Materials
Original fabric developed with the US Air Force flight jacket "MA-1" as a motif is used.
The three-layer structure of nylon twill (surface) + polyester cotton (middle layer) + nylon taffeta (reverse side) is very light, and the soft feel of the bonding material and the vivid rescue orange of the reverse side are attractive.
