Gloves and scarfs
Warm gloves for winter
Gloves are practical when it gets cold, but they are also a visible part of your outerwear. Here on the site, you will find warm gloves that keep your hands at a comfortable temperature without being too bulky. We stock models from Swedish brand Hestra, among others, which focuses on durable materials and good fits. Whether you need a pair for your wool coat or something more technical for your bike ride to work, we have several options.
Touchscreen gloves and technical materials
In everyday life, it is often easiest not to have to take your gloves on and off all the time. Many of our models are designed as touchscreen gloves, so you can easily use your phone.
Winter weather also requires materials that can withstand the elements. That is why you will find gloves with wind-resistant, water-repellent, and breathable properties. Several models are also lined with insulating Primaloft and soft microfleece, which effectively retain heat. This works well for both everyday bike rides and longer walks on the weekend.
Leather gloves and cashmere
The material determines how warm the glove is and how it feels to wear. In our selection, you will find, among other things, the classic men's glove made as a lined deerskin leather glove. Leather gloves are durable, and deerskin in particular is known for being soft from the start and only becoming more supple with use.
For women, we also have wrist warmers in pure cashmere. They provide good warmth around the wrists and act as a soft layer under your jacket sleeve, while keeping your fingers completely free.
How to find the right glove size
A glove insulates best when it fits properly. You can find your glove size by measuring the circumference of your hand across the knuckles with a tape measure. Keep your hand slightly bent and do not include your thumb in the measurement.
Please note that leather and suede gloves in particular should fit snugly at first. A natural material like deerskin will stretch as you wear it and will quite quickly shape itself to your hands.
FAQ
Q: How do I find my glove size?
A: Measure the circumference of your hand across the knuckles with a tape measure. The thumb should not be included in the measurement. If you are buying leather gloves, they should fit snugly to begin with, as the leather will stretch and shape itself to your hand as you wear them.
Q: Can I use my smartphone while wearing gloves?
A: Yes, if you choose a model with a touch function. Look specifically for our touchscreen gloves if it is a requirement for you to be able to operate your phone without taking your gloves off in the cold.
Q: How do I care for my leather gloves?
A: If your leather gloves have become wet, they should be dried flat at normal room temperature. Avoid placing them on a radiator or in direct sunlight, as this will dry out the leather and make the material stiff.
